The image of a bag for transporting pituri made from government blankets is superimposed over a plan of the second story of Montague House (British Museum), 1786. Pituri leaf (Duboisia hopwoodii) is a mild narcotic that was traded great distances from northwest Queensland into the Lake Eyre region of central Australia. This bag entered the British Museum collections in the 1890s.
